A 73-year-old man was attacked and robbed of a gold chain valued at $8,000 at his home on Piarco Old Road, Red Hill, D'Abadie on Wednesday, July 22nd, around 12:24 p.m. Two men approached him in his yard, grabbed the gold chain from his neck, and struck him several times in the face before fleeing on foot along Piarco Old Road. Three suspects were detained by police in connection with the robbery: 20-year-old Hakin Ford of Ryner Street, Eastern Main Road, Laventille; 18-year-old Adam Williams of Beetham Gardens; and 19-year-old Jabarie Phillip James, also of Ryner Street, Laventille. Police are investigating the incident; the three suspects remain in custody.
