An intelligence-led operation by the Tobago Gang and Intelligence Unit (TGIU) resulted in the seizure of over $1 million worth of compressed cannabis on Thursday, June 26, around 9:20 p.m. at Scarborough Port. Officers intercepted a white Honda Civic driven by a 25-year-old suspect from Bon Accord and discovered a concealed, modified compartment in the trunk containing 61 packets of compressed cannabis weighing approximately 33 kilograms, with an estimated street value of $1,152,000. The vehicle and drugs were seized, the suspect was taken into custody at Shirvan Road Police Station, and investigations are continuing under PC Pierre's direction.
