The Ark Preschool at #1 Amowsville, Carenage was broken into sometime between Sunday afternoon June 29th and early Monday morning June 30th, 2025. A 57-year-old volunteer principal secured the facility at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday and returned at 6:35 a.m. Monday to find multicoloured linens scattered on the floor and items missing. Stolen items included a black 32-inch TCL flat screen television mounted on a classroom wall, a bucket of Sundae brand strawberry cheesecake ice cream (valued at $50 TTD), and a pack of microwave butter popcorn (valued at $6 TTD). Suspects pried open a black burglar-proof door with a glass panel to gain entry and exited through a grey wooden door on the northern side of the preschool, which was found closed but unlatched. Police are investigating.
