A 69-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday afternoon at a relative's home in Marabella around 4:20 p.m. while entering the driveway to close the gate. Two armed men of African descent exited a vehicle, announced a robbery, and stole a white Nissan X-Trail (registration PDS 1494) valued at $80,000, along with the victim's wallet and personal items. The suspects escaped in a northerly direction in the stolen vehicle. An iPhone 14 that was in the SUV was later recovered along Southern Main Road, Pointe-a-Pierre, but the vehicle itself remained missing more than 24 hours after the incident despite being equipped with Car Search GPS.
