Man shot in brazen daylight attack in Enterprise (21-year-old)

Southern Main Road near Ophen Street, Enterprise, Montrose, Chaguanas

A 21-year-old man was shot and wounded during a brazen daylight attack on Southern Main Road, Enterprise, Chaguanas on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at approximately 10:10 a.m. The victim was standing near Orphan Street awaiting transportation when a black Nissan Note pulled up alongside him. The front-seat passenger pointed a firearm and opened fire, striking the victim in the right arm. The victim heard multiple gunshots, felt a burning sensation, and ran to safety but fell during his escape, sustaining bruises to his right knee. The vehicle fled northbound and police are investigating the wounding with intent.
