Businesswoman robbed at insurance agency (44)

S.S. Erin Road, insurance agency, Penal, Penal - Debe

A 44-year-old businesswoman, proprietress of an insurance office located on S.S. Erin Road, Penal, was robbed on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at approximately 12:45 p.m. A man entered the establishment and announced a robbery, causing the victim to fear for her life. During a scuffle that ensued, the suspect robbed the victim of TT$1,825 in cash. The suspect was described as a man of African descent, approximately six feet tall with dark brown complexion, oval-shaped face, and acne marks on both cheeks, wearing a navy blue Lakers hat, blue long-sleeved coverall jacket with Petrotrin logo and 'E & I Line' marking, dark pants, and black sneakers. The suspect fled the scene on foot heading south along S.S. Erin Road. Police are investigating the incident.
