4 men storm Barrackpore mini-mart, customers and sales attendant tied up, robbed

A violent armed robbery occurred around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday at a Mini Mart on Seebalack Branch Trace, Rochard Road, Penal. Four armed suspects confronted a 31-year-old sales attendant and a 30-year-old customer, forcing them into the store's kitchen and living room areas. The victims were tied up with pieces of clothing while the suspects ransacked the premises. The robbers stole approximately $200 in cash, gold jewellery, a black iPhone 11 in a purple case, a black ZTE Blade A35 smartphone, cigarettes valued at $500, and multiple bottles of alcoholic beverages. The sales attendant managed to free herself and contacted Barrackpore Police Station. Police are investigating the armed robbery and searching for the four suspects.
