Anthony Samuel, 49, nicknamed 'Deportee', was shot dead in his home on Third Street, Techier Village, Point Fortin on Tuesday night around 10:30 PM. Samuel had a history of narcotics and firearm offences and was on bail for trafficking firearms at the time of his death. Officers discovered Samuel inside his house with multiple gunshot injuries, slumped over a table. Police found no signs of forced entry and nothing illegal on the premises. Investigators suspect the killing may be narcotics-related. The Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region Three responded, with Cpl Baptiste continuing the investigation.
