A car wash located at Three Roads, Freeport near the Savannah was robbed on Wednesday, March 4th, 2026. CCTV footage shows a vehicle reversing onto the compound, after which two armed men exited the car with their faces covered by t-shirts. The men pointed guns and announced a robbery before quickly fleeing the scene. The same vehicle (PCY 9059) was later identified as being used in an attempted carjacking of a woman, who managed to escape by driving away when the suspects attempted to open her door. Police are investigating both incidents in connection with the armed robbery at the car wash.
