Woman's partially decomposed body found with rope around neck at Blenheim Bay (Stacy, Golconda)

Windward Road, Mt St George / Blenheim Bay shoreline near Mt St George/Goodwood electoral district office, Tobago

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, around 3:00 p.m., police officers on mobile patrol along Windward Road in Mt St George, Tobago were alerted by residents to a body floating in the sea near Blenheim Bay. The partially decomposed body washed ashore near the new Mt St George/Goodwood electoral district office, where officers with assistance from civilians brought it onto land. The deceased was identified as a woman known as 'Stacy' from Golconda, found unclothed with a rope wrapped around her neck. The presence of the rope around the neck and the condition of the body suggest foul play and indicate this was not a natural death. Police in Tobago have launched a homicide investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death. Authorities are working to determine the cause and identify any suspects responsible for the death.
