ScarboroughPolice Seize 35 Cannabis Trees, Three Arrested

Friends Field Trace, Calder Hall, Scarborough, Tobago

Police seized 35 cannabis trees during an intelligence-led anti-crime operation at Friends Field Trace, Calder Hall in the Scarborough district on Monday, July 7, 2026. Three men were arrested in connection with the seizure: a 36-year-old electrician from Pumpmill, Scarborough, a 28-year-old office assistant from Calder Hall, and a 41-year-old self-employed man also from Calder Hall. All three suspects were detained on suspicion of possession of cannabis. Officers from the Tobago Divisional Task Force conducted the operation under the Emergency Powers Regulations, 2026, as part of Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. Shield, an ongoing effort to disrupt illegal drug cultivation and trafficking.
