Armed robbery of Hyundai Tucson in Mon Repos

Mon Repos (location of armed robbery), San Fernando

Two armed men stole a Hyundai Tucson during an armed robbery in Mon Repos. The vehicle was taken by two suspects, one described as slim-built, 5'6" wearing a grey hoodie and blue ¾ pants, and a second man of mixed descent, medium build, approximately 5'6". The stolen vehicle was later spotted by police on the Golconda Connector Road near traffic lights around 2:15 p.m. on Friday. Crime Scene Investigators recovered three cell phones (two belonging to the robbery victims) and the stolen vehicle.
