A 57-year-old courier driver working at the Office of the Chief Secretary was driving his white Kia Cerato around 5:15 a.m. on March 6 near his residence along Plymouth Road in Whim when a gunman opened fire on his vehicle. The suspect, described as dark-skinned, slim built, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a multi-coloured jersey, dark jeans and dark face covering, suddenly stood up from near the roadway and fired several shots at the vehicle. The victim immediately reversed and fled the area, narrowly escaping injury. The gunman then escaped along the roadway. Police are investigating the incident.
