Five arrested, firearm and drugs seized in State of Emergency operations

Officers conducted a search exercise at a bar in the Chaguanas district between 7 pm and midnight on Saturday, March 7, 2026, during ongoing State of Emergency operations in the Central Division. A 44-year-old Chaguanas man was found in possession of one Smith and Wesson pistol loaded with a magazine containing four rounds of ammunition. The man was arrested in connection with the find. Five suspects, including one minor, were arrested overall during the weekend operations, with a firearm, two magazines, quantities of drugs and ammunition seized across the Central and North Central Divisions.
