Ryan Mark, 42, a Trinidad and Tobago national and businessman, was arrested during "Operation Purple Rain," a Counter Trafficking Unit operation executed following INTERPOL intelligence and weeks of surveillance. Four victims of trafficking were identified at the premises: a 15-year-old Venezuelan female, a 17-year-old Venezuelan female, a 27-year-old Venezuelan female, and a 30-year-old Venezuelan female (mother of the 15-year-old). Officers observed clear signs of physical abuse, including visible marks of violence and branding on victims' bodies. Preliminary evidence indicated victims had been subjected to prolonged and severe exploitation, with some confined and exploited at the location for more than two years. Charges under the Trafficking in Persons Act are imminent, with further charges expected as the investigation progresses.
