A police officer discovered his apartment at Montgomery Drive, Union Hall, San Fernando had been burglarised when he returned around 10:00am on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The lock on a metal door at the southern side of the apartment had been forced open. Several items were stolen, including a 55-inch TCL flat-screen television valued at $5,800, a white humidifier worth $2,200, two Alexa Echo Dot devices valued at $550 each, two pairs of LeBron James sneakers worth $3,600, a black kettle, a Trinidad and Tobago Police Service identification card, and other police-issued equipment. The officer had locked the apartment around 5:00pm on Sunday, March 1, 2026 before leaving. The break-in occurred sometime between March 1 and March 25. Police are investigating the incident.
