Police recover 9mm pistol in Bon Air intelligence operation

Premises linked to individuals, Bon Air, Arouca, Tunapuna - Piarco

Officers of the North Central Division Gang and Intelligence Unit (NCDGIU) and the North Central Division Task Force, Area East, conducted a coordinated intelligence-led operation in Bon Air on Thursday, March 26, 2026, between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The operation targeted premises linked to individuals suspected of organised criminal activity, with multiple searches carried out based on analysed intelligence. A 9mm pistol was seized during the operation. Police stated the objective was to disrupt illegal operations and remove dangerous weapons from the community.
