Teenage Venezuelan National Sexually Assaulted and Robbed by Two Men in El Socorro

Ward Lane, El Socorro, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

A 15-year-old girl was intercepted and attacked by two men while walking along Ward Lane late Wednesday night. One suspect, armed with a knife, robbed the teenager of her handbag and cellphone before both men forced her into a nearby open yard leading to an apartment complex. The victim was sexually assaulted at the location before being released. She eventually flagged down a taxi and reported the incident to the Barataria Police Station shortly after 11:00 p.m.
