A 40-year-old man from Five Rivers was attacked and stabbed by three men on First Street near a track around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026. One suspect initially approached the victim with a threat, then returned with two accomplices armed with knives and an axe, launching a violent assault that left the victim beaten and stabbed about the upper body and neck. The victim escaped and ran to the main road, then reported the incident at Arouca Police Station. Officers transported him to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex for treatment of his injuries.
