The victim had secured all doors and windows before leaving around 5:30 a.m., but returned at approximately 3:30 p.m. to find a door on the southern side of the house forced open with the padlock broken. The stolen cash was in Trinidad and Tobago currency, and the victim confirmed she did not authorize anyone to remove the money. Police are investigating the incident.
