A 21-year-old man from Samaroo Village, Arima was violently robbed on a dirt track off Seau D'eau Road in Santa Cruz around 12:30 a.m. on Friday, May 30th, 2025. The victim had arranged to meet someone via the Grindr dating app and parked his vehicle on the western side of the roadway before walking into the dirt track. Four masked men accosted him and announced a robbery. The suspects stole his black side pouch containing his wallet, iPhone XR, Samsung A15 phone, and car keys. One suspect punched the victim in the face before the group fled. The attackers escaped on foot from the dirt track and drove away in the victim's black vehicle heading north along Seau D'eau Road. Police are investigating the incident.
