Petit BourgCouple Robbed at Gunpoint of iPhone, Vehicle Keys on Eastern Main Road

Eastern Main Road near Tyre Trac, Petit Bourg, San Juan, San Juan - Laventille

A 22-year-old man and his 20-year-old female companion were robbed at gunpoint on Eastern Main Road near Tyre Track, Petit Bourg around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Two armed suspects in a black Toyota Corolla pulled up behind the victims' white Hyundai H100 and exited the vehicle. One suspect pointed a firearm at the male victim and announced the robbery. The gunmen stole an iPhone 11 and the H100 keys from the male victim and forced the female victim from the vehicle. The female victim's handbag, identification cards, bank cards, PriceSmart card and purse remained inside the H100 when the suspects drove away in it. Officers from the North Eastern Division Task Force tracked and intercepted the stolen H100 near Tool Time Hardware in Aranguez shortly after the robbery. Two suspects, both 28 years old from Sea Lots, were detained and a firearm, the stolen iPhone 11, and the female victim's handbag were recovered.
