MayaroWoman Catches Nephew Fleeing with Stolen $160 Stove

A 39-year-old woman returned to her apartment in Mayaro on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 around 8 a.m.

Edward Trace, Peterhill, Mayaro, Guayaguayare, Mayaro - Rio Claro

A 39-year-old woman returned to her apartment in Mayaro on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 around 8 a.m. and discovered her nephew, Malakai Frank of Edward Trace, Peterhill, escaping through a window with a ring stove valued at $160. The woman heard suspicious noises as she unlocked her front door and observed Frank climbing out of the window carrying the appliance. When she called out to him, Frank allegedly ignored her and ran off with the stove. Investigators determined that entry had been gained through a window on the northern side of the apartment that had been pried open. The ring stove had been removed from the kitchen.
