Cunapo Southern Main Road, Sangre Grande

A 48-year-old man was arrested for Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking on Cunapo Southern Main Road, Sangre Grande on Thursday, July 2, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Officers of the Eastern Division Task Force (EDTF) conducted surveillance over an extended period at the location as part of Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E Shield. Approximately 18 grams of cocaine was seized during the arrest. The operation was coordinated by Senior Superintendent Ettienne and Acting Inspector Harper, and supervised by Acting Sergeant Rampersad.
