A break-in at My Pie Place, a business in Ghandi Village, Debe, resulted in the theft of $374 in cash on the night of July 22, 2026. The owner had secured the premises at 2 p.m. and returned around 1:30 a.m. on July 23 to discover the shop had been entered unlawfully. The suspect forced open a metal window on the western side of the building to gain entry and exited through the same opening, leaving the cash register empty of the previous day's sales. Officers from the Debe Highway Patrol, San Fernando Police Station, and Criminal Investigations Department responded following a report to the Command Centre and conducted enquiries. Police arrested Rodney Bridgelal, 52, of Cuchawan Trace, Debe, and recovered the missing $374 cash from him.
