Officers conducting Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. Shield seized a silver and brown firearm fitted with an extended magazine containing 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition from the attic area on the fourth floor of Building 2, Dorata Street Plannings, Morvant at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, 21st July, 2026. A black bag containing an additional 49 rounds of 9mm ammunition was also recovered during the same search exercise. The firearm was rendered safe and conveyed to the Crime Scene Investigation Department at the San Juan Police Station along with all ammunition. The seizure was part of an intelligence-led operation conducted between 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. targeting multiple locations in Laventille and Morvant.
