Two female bodies were discovered buried in a shallow grave in a remote agricultural area off Ramsaran Street near the Warren Road/Bejucal Road district on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. A farmer noticed disturbed earth on his land and contacted police; officers excavated the site and recovered both bodies. Both victims bore injuries consistent with blunt force trauma, and police believe they were beaten to death before being buried. The bodies appeared fresh, and investigators suspect they were placed in the grave the night before discovery. The victims are believed to be Venezuelan nationals. Police are investigating and appealing to the public, particularly the Venezuelan migrant community in Trinidad, for information.
