A 51-year-old truck driver returned home Friday afternoon to discover his residence had been burglarized overnight. The front window was smashed, the door pried open, and the home was thoroughly ransacked by intruders who stole a significant quantity of valuables and equipment. Stolen items included gold jewellery valued at $43,000, welding equipment, a generator, a TCL television, two LPG gas tanks, a pressure washer, and other household items, bringing total losses to over $55,000. A team of officers including PC Ali, Ag/Cpl Huggins, and PC Regis responded to the scene, collected statements, and spoke to several persons of interest. Crime Scene Investigators examined the property and recovered workable fingerprints. CCTV footage from surrounding areas has been requested to aid the ongoing investigation.
