Corinth HillsGunmen Fire at Car Wash, Police Officer Grazed (2 Injured)

A police officer and a civilian were injured when gunmen opened fire at a car wash on Leander Lane, Building 32, Corinth Hills, San Fernando on Sunday morning, May 10, 2026 around 7:30 a.m. A gunman in a white Nissan Tiida drove along the street and fired several shots at a group of men liming at the location before speeding away. Jameer Braithwaite, 32, of Building 16 suffered injuries after falling while attempting to escape the gunfire. Police officer Anderson Ramjattan, who was present at the car wash, was grazed on the head by a bullet during the attack. Both men received injuries during the incident; the gunmen escaped and remain at large. Police have launched investigations into the shooting; no arrests have been made.
