Three men were shot dead inside a house at Sixth Street, Corinth Settlement, Ste Madeleine, around 1:20 am on May 31. The victims were identified as Clariey Kingfoo, his father Martin Harripersad (43), and his father's friend identified only as Joe. A teenager who lived at the house told police he had left to walk his two dogs and, while returning through a track, heard approximately 15 gunshots. Upon returning, he found Kingfoo lying on his back in a pool of blood at the entrance to the black front gate, Harripersad lying on a bed, and Joe slumped on the bedroom floor—all three already deceased. Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region 3 are investigating the triple homicide.
