A 36-year-old security officer from Tacarigua was robbed at gunpoint on Joyeau Street in Curepe around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Two masked gunmen exited a white Nissan AD Wagon and announced a robbery, taking his service Glock 19 pistol, two magazines with 25 rounds of 9mm ammunition, precept ID, firearm documents, wallet containing $1,000 cash, and Samsung A14 cellphone worth $2,000. The officer was en route to Arouca Police Station to lodge his firearm after completing his shift when the robbery occurred. Police response and investigation status not detailed in article.
