Home destroyed in suspected arson attack (Alison McCarthy, Gregory Zamore family)

La Brea Trace, Siparia
Source: CNC 3

A wooden house at La Brea Trace, Siparia, was destroyed by fire around 7:20 pm on Friday evening, leaving a family of seven homeless. Alison McCarthy and her common-law husband Gregory Zamore reported that the house had been threatened with arson in the days prior, linking the attack to an ongoing land dispute. The fire destroyed all of the family's belongings, including appliances, furniture, clothing, and legal documents tied to a High Court matter. The couple's five children, aged between three and 12, are now staying at the Quarry Village Community Centre. Police are investigating; no arrests have been made.
